I cancelled a dental appointment today. While the practice is very diligent, I’m eliminating all unnecessary risk.

I asked D2 what her source was, and she said that it was one of her clients.

I have a dental cleaning scheduled for January. I think I'll pass for another 6 months.

I did an exam/cleaning in October the a couple small fillings, but the spread was very low at that time. Not so much now.

Same here. Postponing all that kind of thing. Hubby is, too.

I need to get contacts - monthly ones. I have one pair that needs to last 6 months. I cannot go in for an exam - and they won't send you contacts w/o a prescription. Not sure how this will work.

I had a couple dental appointments between July and early November. Next cleaning is scheduled for March (I do every 4 months). I’m guessing I’ll be ok with it by then. If I had something scheduled soon, I’d postpone for sure.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

They won't send them on your old prescription?

@Jolly No, I asked and they were sympathetic - but no could do. I tried online - and same thing. Today, I found an outfit in the UK that would ship them - and at about the same price as here. I ordered them today, and 2 hours later they shipped them. That should last me till the end of next year.

See, I don't know the laws in your area. Here, your prescription is part of your legal medical record and it is your on demand.

I recently bought a pair of $58 bifocals on one of my old prescriptions. No problemo.

That's the way it should be - at least with what's going on in the world. I found a company in Canada that would ship to the US - but it was triple the cost of what it was from the UK.
