    Good.

I always felt, as a neuroradiologist, he was not qualified to be on this task force.

He's probably a good neuroradiologist. Public health and epidemiologist? Probably not.

Seems a bit out of his wheelhouse, yes. But he signed on in August for a 130 day stint, so this is just the end of that.

He was only hired because of his one qualification, to repeat and promote the Trump narrative of "just ignore it".

I wasn't aware of the time limit on his term. Nevertheless, I've criticized his appointment in the past, and I stand by my criticism today. Having "MD" behind your name doesn't make you an expert. It only means you understand the vocabulary, if that.

            Scott Atlas.

With a name like that, if he's not a super-hero in his spare time, then I'm not a proper doctor.

            I was only joking

Trump sucks at hiring competent people.

His position was, and is, anything but "just ignore it".

He has consistently promoted a common sense science based approach.

His approach will be recognized as the correct one over the next few months.

For example, he is in favor of opening schools. He has many reasons for this including the fact that very few school-age children have died from covid.

Did you know that in New Jersey the number of school-age deaths is zero? Yes, zero.

And did you know that in this country there have been far fewer school-age children killed by covid than by suicide?

And did you know that children don't appear to transmit the virus the way we were led to believe they do. In other words, the teachers, with powerful unions, were never in much danger of catching the virus from school-aged children who have spent months locked alone in their rooms contemplating their mortality.

And then of course there is the economy. Maybe we should "just ignore it".

I don't really know all that much about this guy, but I just watched him saying this stuff on Tucker.
