    The Great Depression.

Do you have the skills to live through another one?

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

I thought we already had another one in 2008.

      I was only joking

Not a deep one like The Great Depression.

Silly me, I just realised this article is from 2009.

          I was only joking

Thanks for posting the link, Jolly.
It was a nice Sunday afternoon read.
My MIL was famous in our family, as she saved almost everything. She even had a sack for the little green-covered wires that you use to tie the clear vegetable bags in the produce section of the grocery store. She never forgot the depression.

She was raised in Condon, Oregon. Even today, it is the middle of nowhere, flat eastern Oregon desert. Rough life. I could never figure out why people stopped in those regions on their way west on the Oregon Trail, and decided, "wow, this is it!"
