In London, a protest against lockdowns, etc resulted in the arrest of 150 protestors.

More than 150 people were arrested on Saturday during an anti-lockdown protest in London, the Metropolitan Police announced.

The Met said that arrests were made for breaching coronavirus regulations, assaulting a police officer and possessing of drugs. Law enforcement added that officers made several attempts to prevent people from gathering and to urge people to go home.

The Met warned on Friday that the protests break the law, adding that it had a “robust policing plan in place throughout the weekend.”

13 were arrested during a BLM protest with thousands protesting last June:

Activists chanted ‘black lives matter’ and ‘we will not be silent’ in Hyde Park in a peaceful demonstration before tensions escalated later outside Downing Street. The Metropolitan Police said 13 people were arrested during the protests, which ran into the early hours of Thursday morning. Star Wars actor John Boyega was among those to speak at the rally before protesters, many wearing masks and holding placards, marched on Westminster. Mr Floyd died after a white officer held him down by pressing a knee into his neck in Minneapolis on May 25, sparking days of protest in the US. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was ‘appalled and sickened’ to see what happened to Mr Floyd, while chief constables from across the UK issued a joint statement saying they ‘stand alongside all those across the globe who are appalled and horrified’.

No question that authorities there and here have done a huge disservice to public health by basing their response to mass gatherings on their political content.

      You were warned.

        Sort of related:

        https://nypost.com/2020/11/28/nyc-bar-in-covid-hotspot-refuses-to-close-after-liquor-license-yanked/

“!ATTENTION! We hereby declare this establishment an !!!AUTONOMOUS ZONE!!!” read signs outside and around Mac’s Public House in Grant City, invoking a phrase more commonly associated with the monthlong occupation of Capitol Hill in the Emerald City by anti-cop radicals. “We refuse to abide by any rules and regulations put forth by the Mayor of NYC and Governor of NY State.”

The state had been warning for weeks that the South Shore was on the path to orange-zone status, based on the area’s consistent and surging coronavirus positivity rate, and on Monday, Gov. Cuomo made the call.

Restrictions, including the prohibition of indoor dining in bars and restaurants, took effect Wednesday.

If Mr. Trump really goes away in a few weeks we'll be able to forget all about covid.

That would be a nice break.

Nope, he has a point. Watch the MSM stories die down.

@Jolly sorry but I disagree. Pretty much all of the main media agrees that President elect Biden won the election.

How Come when I look at the US news, more than half the stories deal with Covid?

You guys are letting your BDS show.

                  Biden hasn't taken office, yet.

                  Watch and learn.

If you can't kick Trump, why publish it?
