The latest lawsuit in PA (thrown out already by the 3rd circuit) was brought, not by the Trump legal team, but by PA congressman Mike Kelly. The lawsuit sought to invalidate the entire PA election on the theory that mail in ballots were unconstitutional.

Let’s put aside how sad it is that some people in the GOP (rightly) believe that trying to overturn the votes of 6MM people is a way to get ahead, at least among a significant section of their party.

People have noticed that Mike Kelly went to federal court to argue that his own election to office was invalid and unconstitutional. There’s now a movement afoot to have the House Credentials Committee take into account Mr Kelly’s wishes that his own election not be certified....

(By the way, he shouldn’t and surely won’t be held from his seat for this, but I think it’s entirely in order to embarrass him a little bit on the way in)

The real play here (well not the Lawsuits themselves) is to change many of the voting laws. I suspect you know that.

          Come on, man.

Kelly’s play was attention, and surely you know that.

True... I did note he crushed this election after winning narrowly in 2018. He also introduced new voting legislation.

One play here is to legislate more effectively how one can vote. Some would call it voter suppression others preventing fraud. I do believe calling out fraud, merited or not, is the best chance to change the laws and we have more people’s attention than normal right now.

The odd thing is the Republican legislature just passed the mail in voting law.
