If that story is actually true, then those engaged in that are wrong, and should be condemned for it. There's 2 problems with the story, however. First, the sour e of the story is unreliable and very biased. If other news sources were covering the story too I might accept it as true. But I can't find any other media reporting this, so it may not even be true. Second, there is a huge difference between a group that rarely ever engages in threats or violence having a few bad actors make threats, and a group that routinely makes threats and engages in violence on a daily basis.
But as I said, if it's true it should be condemned. I'm just not convinced it's true, and if it is true it's out of character for the right side and doesn't equate with the Left side who do this sort of thing on a daily basis.

There's proper ways to handle that that doesn't involve some jerkoff calling up the employees and threatening them. There's no way to justify that. But I don't believe it happened anyway, so..

The other thing I’m happy about is the recognition that Biden stands for defense of our democratic institutions, such that lawyers that are attacking them are perceived to be working contra his interest.

Look at the dozens of times President Trump was asked to speak out against incivility, which he did, even while being occasionally impolite.

George - here’s what I mean - did it ever cross your mind to expect Trump to distance himself from the threats against the PA and GA Secretaries of State?
Hell, even hoping he didn’t pile on would have seemed like an unreasonable expectation. Well, not unreasonable, just an expectation likely to be dashed.

You have GOT to be joking. There's no way you are that tone deaf. You simply have GOT to be making a joke.
Trump could take lessons from Biden on incivility. The most uncivil person to hold that office in my lifetime was Obama. It's funny how this works - a democrat says something rude or sarcastic and the media ignores it and reminds everyone what a charming, articulate, dignified, wonderful, just all around perfect person he is. He can do no wrong. But a Republican can make a single minor comment the media can take out of context and the media spends hours and hours a day for months portraying him as the devil incarnate. I expect low information voters and goofballs like Ax and Sock to Falk for it, but you're not that dumb.

It's amusing watching people who gladly accepted "adults in the whitehouse" bragging via the NYT that they are actively subverting the duly elected president, now pretend to give a flying fuck about our institutions. Backbones require a backbone, otherwise they aren't bakbones.

Interesting thing about that - the guy’s identity was revealed and he was oversold by the NYT. He was a deputy or assistant director of the DHS or something like that. Didn’t even work in the White House.
