@George-K said in Maybe “Kraken” was just a misspelling of “Karen”:
Is this real? Three wrong versions of district?
Powell's filings with the court are full of misspellings. That's what Jon's point is:

@George-K that always amazes me when I see things like that.
Any formal document we do has been read by one person, reread by a second (and maybe three or four people). Once you read and check the draft, you initial it.
Then you do a recheck until no red marks. Then it is good to issue.

She shouldn’t have hired that intern from Giuliano’s PA team...

Is this some really clever fucking ruse trying to lull us all into a false sense of superiority?
If it is, I have to say it's working.

I wonder if she went to the same school as that weird doctor Trump used to have.

I’m starting to wonder if she and Lynn Wood are being paid by Chuck Schumer.

A piece I’ll link to goes over all the problems with the WI filing with this conclusion:
Thus, under the court’s rules, the defendants have up to 21 days to respond to the complaint, meaning a response isn’t required until a week after the Electoral College votes President-elect Joe Biden into office.

This is as weird as heck.
Have any of Trump's supporters here commented on how bizarre this error-prone debacle is?

You're not the first to float that conspiracy theory.

Except I’m floating a joke, not an actual theory.
The only explanation consistent with Powell’s sanity and competence was that she was going through these motions in order to curry favor with Trump for the sake of her client Flynn.
But now that his pardon is secured, one or both of those need to give. (Presumptions of sanity and competence)

See, here's the problem I'm having. I never thought of Powell, or for that matter, Giuliani, as being "cranks." And now, until I see hard, hard, evidence, they're coming off like the Keystone Kops of the bar.
These are errors which are so basic that would cause me to fail a medical student.
"Diabetes? Oh, I thought you meant 'cancer.' My bad."

Frankly, I think Flynn should be pardoned. All he did was embarrass the Vice President by lying about his conversation with the Russian Ambassador. His subsequent resignation was appropriate. The rest of the story is inconsequential.

To Powell's credit, she did a hell of a job unearthing the malfeasance of the FBI in this entire affair. And that is why I made my comment two posts above.

When someone is engaged in battle, it is foolish to reach conclusions about the methods being used and mistakes being made before the fight ends. What matters is who won in the end.

I know that precipitated his problems but his other lies seem far more damning. I’m speaking specifically about lying about his work for the Turkish government and saying US businesses paid for a trip to Moscow when it was really the Russian state that paid for it.
