South Africa vaccinated their black residents during the apartheid years. Even slave owners vaccinated their slaves back when slavery was legal. Not lowering the bar even further is the least Israel can and should do.
BTW, any one bothered to ask the Palestinians whether they want freedom more or the vaccines more from Israel?

I think the idea was that Israel preordered so many vaccine doses from different companies that basically we have 12,000,000 doses coming for a population of 9,000,000.
And because there is steady population movement from the West Bank into and out of Israel, it’s in our best interest that they get vaccinated as well, so the surplus will be going to the Palestinian authority.

As for axtremus comment, the West Bank health ministry is not under Israeli government control, its an independent authority. And basically it holds the responsibility of vaccinating it’s population. For example, childhood vaccinations in the West Bank are not done by Israel, they do it themselves.
However as I said, Israel is going to have a surplus so they simply are transferring it to them. Israel is not “allowing it’s slaves to be vaccinated” that’s a complete misunderstanding of the political situation here.
