If one believes that everything that happens is because God "wanted" it, then the answer is obviously true, but not very interesting.

If one doesn't believe in God, the answer is "false" and not very interesting either.

But is there somebody who believes that some things happen because God "wants" to whereas others just happen without God being involved? In other words, is this a contingent question? If so, how does one distinguish the two situations?

If I empty thousands of liters of water at the top of a hill, most of that water is going to find its way to the bottom of the hill. What I don’t know is how much water won’t make it, and the exact path that individual drops will taken their way down. That’s the interesting part. And from time to time, I might see some of that water get dammed up by a branches and leaves and may remove that dam... Other times I may see the flow of water overcome the leaves and branches on their own...

The least godly man to ever occupy the oval office has millions of Christians praising him and proclaiming God put him there. The disconnects with the reality of this man are numerous and cult like.

You must have a very advanced sense of godlyness.

Few people are able to measure it precisely.

Just curious what you think about the left and whether or not they're experiencing the same phenomenon.

                    Please love yourself.

Meh, God was able to use Nebuchadnezzer, too. Doesn’t mean I think he was a good person...
