I bought a book from Bookbub titled Yeager's Law. Here's the snippet that decided me to buy it. Yeager is driving his Peterbilt, and he sees a rabbit running along. He thinks to himself, we're hunting wabbits.
This reminds him, "A kid in his old platoon, Sonny, could imitate Elmer Fudd as if channeling the spirit of Mel Blanc. Platoon C, sweaty, tired and edgy, would be on the trail of some Taliban bad guys deep in Indian country, then Sonny would turn around and whisper, "Be vewy, vewy quiet. We're hunting Tawwiban. Heheheheheh." The guys would crack up."
