I needed to get a second pair of readers today so I could see clearly enough to fit the screwdriver into the screw to fix my first pair of readers...

They're only like $5, right? Why fix?

Grasshopper, the journey begins. Go up in magnification as slowly as you can. I had two readers once, I can’t tell how many I’ve bought (1.25, 1.5, 1.75 and then a pair for each floor of the house, the office, the car, the kitchen...), but I think I am good at 2 now for a while.

God, I pay about $600 every time I go to the optician. The woefully inadequate "insurance" doesn't even cover the second set.
