Speaking of the new wave, any hints of new shortages in your area?

I’ve not seen any that weren’t already ongoing but there is a little noise about it on social media. Our own Improv posted on FB about empty toilet paper aisles at Costco.
I did see a “limit one per customer” on off-brand wipes the last time I was in the store but I don’t know if that was always there.

I picked up an order at Kroger today. The guy was saying people are panic buying, especially milk. I guess I will freeze a couple half gallons again. TP and paper towels are scarce. Luckily we are well supplied.

I sent kiddo a grocery delivery from a big local grocery store in her area. The gal who shopped, Hazel, said the cleaning supplies were pretty scarce. Had to sub the paper towel with some generic stuff. Had to sub the Kleenex multipack with some single ones. Not a big deal.
I have not been in a local grocery store here for a while.

I will go into the Fresh Market, an upscale grocery chain out of NC, because they have a lot of high quality stuff I like and there's never much of anyone in there. We went to Dorothy Lane Market once a few weeks ago. Other than that I have not set foot in a grocery store since February.

TP and paper towels I understand. I asked why and the answer was lots more pooping at home.

Toilet paper supply seems fine. Paper towel may have a bit of a shortage in that I could not find the Bounty brand paper towel at the local Costco, and that's the gold standard for paper towel. But there are other brands of paper towel available.
Have not notice any other shortage, if any. Face masks, gloves, sanitizers, etc. are all available.
