The Great Reset

Communism by another name?

Interesting read, Jolly. I thought this "reset" stuff was like the Bilderburg (or whatever it's called) group with their annual near-clandestine meeting.
But on the road to the Great Reset, today is the day governor Kate Brown's edicts begin, the pushback will determine whether these will be renewed, and whether more such covid-response mandates will be expanded upon. Hope your state's guidance is able to keep up with Oregon's:
The Two-Week Freeze measures include:
· Limiting social get-togethers (indoors and outdoors) to no more than six people, total, from no more than two households.
· Limiting faith-based organizations to a maximum of 25 people indoors or 50 people outdoors.
· Limiting restaurants and bars to takeout only.
· Closing gyms and fitness organizations.
· Closing indoor recreational facilities, museums, indoor entertainment activities, and indoor pools and sports courts.
· Closing outdoor recreational facilities, zoos, gardens, aquariums, outdoor entertainment activities, and outdoor pools.
· Limiting grocery stores and pharmacies to a maximum of 75% capacity and encouraging curbside pickup.
· Limiting retail stores and retail malls (indoor and outdoor) to a maximum of 75% capacity and encouraging curbside pickup.
· Closing venues (that host or facilitate indoor or outdoor events).
· Requiring all businesses to mandate work-from-home to the greatest extent possible and closing offices to the public.
· Prohibiting indoor visiting in long-term care facilities.Thanksgiving gatherings? No way. You will get fined. Actually, a very good time(!) to anonymously snitch on that neighbor that is a continual nuisance to the
neighborhoodworld. That blight on humanity that dares to complain about loud motorcycles at 2:00 am. I'll show him, the jackass, and my government will show him. And in a few years, not only will they cart people like that away, they'll dig out some of his organs while on the drive to thepolicecounseling center. -
You can still criticize your political leaders loudly and publicly, you can still vote them out every two to four years. You’ll be fine.

The most surprising thing about this thread is the bombshell that Jolly reads 'Evie', "the next-generation digital publication for young women by women".
Can knitting patterns be far behind?

For my opinion, one state having a tough lockdown but other states doing nothing means that the whole thing will not work.
I realize that states rights are very important , but in this case, it has been a problem in addressing the problem.
A coordinated national response and enforcement was needed and it wasn’t or couldn’t be done. (More likely couldn’t be done)

Marxism will win. The great resetvwill happen. It will happen because there are too many people walking around today with their heads up their asses. You can read their words even on this forum.
