    USD $1 bills are in high demand in Zimbabwe, so some people make money glueing back together old bills that can be used in the market place.

    I think the place I have been that used money for the longest time before replacing was India. There was some REALLY REALLY old small rupee notes in circulation. (Very grimy actually, and quite dirty).
