Good explanation. A lot, and I mean a LOT, of jargon that he breeses through too quickly.

      He's a resident in PM&R.

Brees has been playing 20 years in the NFL. He's not nearly as big as Tom Brady, so he can't stand as much punishment. I suspect this is his last year.

That was interesting. I cracked a rib once when I fell down rollerblading. As mentioned in the video there’s not much they can do. But it was very painful

I fell off a horse in 1999. Broke a couple of ribs. As I lay there, face down in the sand, the first thing I though of was "I hope my friend the heart surgeon's on call today in case I need a chest tube."

Mrs. George got kicked by a horse....

@George-K Ouch!! I still have this bump on my side. I think because the rib did not go back together the same way.

(But is was not as serious as yours)

@taiwan_girl that x-ray is Mrs. George.

I got an x-ray, but I never kept the image.

Well, file it under "tougher than woodpecker lips"...Brees threw a touchdown pass with five broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

Not bad for a guy who has a standing offer from NBC Sports for greater than $6M/yr.
