Why do you think that is significant?
What's the time frame for that "300" number? One day? One week? One Month? One quarter? One years? One election cycle? Since the dawn of the Republic?
How many of those lawsuits were filed by whom against whom?
How many filed by non-partisan NGOs?
How many filed by the Democratic Party?
How many filed by the Republican Party?
How many were filed to seek rule changes?
How many were filed to stop rule changes?
How many were ruled by the courts for the plaintiffs, how many dismissed by the courts?

Try answering some of those questions, then maybe there is sufficient context to warrant a discussion. Otherwise the number "300" alone is meaningless.

Now, the fact remains there were that many lawsuits filed. Many with the same provisions that were defeated in HR 1.
