My phone does 5G apparently. I’m out for a bit and it connected to 5G.

    Fast.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I just tested mine sitting on the couch (on WiFi) and I got 320megs and a ping (latency) of 11ms.

I’ve never really felt a difference between that and LTE when I’m out and about.

5G doesn’t let me do anything new on my phone.

When I used to get 70 on my wifi it felt very fast. Anything above that was imperceptible. Yeah I know there are all kinds of thinks possible at faster speeds but how does the average person win today at higher speeds than let’s say 70?

Good point. I remember reading an article about wasted speed. My experience is similar to yours, but at a lower threshold. Anything above 40 is not, for me, noticeable.

Unless I'm downloading that hi-def German pr()n, which, well...
