but it is treasonous to your party to start up crap like the Lincoln Project
No it’s not. As you have said, party philosophy changes.
What is considered Republic/Democrat today is different from Republic/Democrat from 20-40 years ago.
Nothing wrong with wanting change.
Do you simply do not understand politics? Or party discipline? If the party becomes nothing but a herd of cats, nothing can be accomplished. And if you aren't in power, you accomplish much less than if you are.
This is not Great Britain. There are no wild-ass factions that can carve out their own little 5% and be effective.

Do you?

But people have every right to do so. If they fail, so be it. "Party discipline" has only so much clout.

34 years worth of dealing with this stuff in the most political state in the Union, sugar. How about you?Party discipline" has only so much clout.
Talk to Nazi Pelosi about that. -
I'm not sure anybody in Great Britain would describe the Social Democrat Party as a "Wild Ass Faction".

That's what I said 2 hours ago. Do try and keep up, grandad.
I was actually replying to Jolly, who brought up Great Britain.

There's a reason...In that system, a small faction of votes can be bartered for political gain. In the U.S. system, that is much, much more difficult.
There is a reason the two major parties have a Majority Whip and a Minority Whip in Congress, and it has nothing to do with Cat's handcuffs and ball gag.

We care some what the Scots care too.. But that's only because we think their dresses are nice...
I'd be prepared for a rude awakening if you ever get drunk and try lifting one of them up.

Boy, can they ever sing. When I lived in Cardiff I'd walk past this little chapel on a Sunday morning - unbelievable. Truly wonderful

A Scotsman walking home from the pub passes out on the side of the road. The next morning a group of school girls walking to school see him laying there on the side of the road passed out. One of the girls says she's always wondered what was under a guy's kilt. They giggle, then one of them lift up his kilt and they all take a peek. As they giggle a little more, one of the girls takes one of her hair ribbons and ties it it a bowtie around his Johnson, then they all go on their way to school.
Half an hour later the Scot wakes up. As he's gathering his wits, he can feel something of his Johnson, so he takes a look. He says "weeel laddie! I dont know where ya been, but i see ya won first prize!"

The two major parties in Britain have Whips in parliament, too.
It's pretty much a 2-party system in the UK too, despite what Nigel Farage might want to have us believe.
