What was not amusing were reports over the weekend that the first witness presented, Daryl Brooks, is a convicted sex offender (prosecuted in 1998 for allegedly exposing himself to two girls, aged seven and eleven). Brooks claims to live in Philadelphia, though he makes a habit for running for public office as a resident of New Jersey.
