One of Luke’s friends tested positive They were together at a small Halloween get together last Saturday, the kid developed symptoms on Thursday and was tested Friday. Just found out this morning. He’s fine, just a light loss of taste and smell...
Should Luke quarantine?

If Luke had symptoms, he would be quarantined...

Can Lule get tested?
I would keep him quarantine until the results of the test.
Was he around the other kid within the 15 minute time frame?

Two negative tests is what I would say suffices.

Yes, he needs to quarantine. Test immediately and then again in another week if it was negative.

A lot of people would make the mistake of asking this question at the CDC web site.
Don't give in to the temptation.
Bring this sort of thing to tncr to get the best advice.
But if you just have to do it.
