I almost want that so that when he reinterprets labor statues to mean all kinds of shit that Congress didn't intend, Scotus could reign in administrative law.

Biden denied that he would pick Socialists for his cabinet. Until today that is, when Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren ordered him to put them on his cabinet..,

Have your fun now, democrats. It won't be that long until you'll all be crying.

What do you think about this? She seems well qualified.

USA Today: "Yellen became the first female chair of the Federal Reserve System in February 2014 during the Obama administration, after serving more than three years as vice governor. She previously served as head of the Council of Economic Advisers to President Bill Clinton."

I thought she did just fine at the Fed. And I had a few concerns when she was going into that job.

They’re not calling him that, are they? Seems like more of a diplomatic role related to climate.

My bad. Yes, Bloomberg is referring to him as the "Climate Czar."

                    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-23/biden-picks-john-kerry-paris-accord-architect-as-climate-czar

Former Secretary of State John Kerry will be named as special presidential envoy for climate by President-elect Joe Biden, according to his transition team, in a sign Biden plans to fulfill promises to elevate the issue of global warming to the highest levels in his White House.

Having a so-called climate czar could help coordinate a whole-of-government approach to confronting global warming, which Biden has referred to as an “existential threat.”

No it’s just a colloquialism. Really a title given by the press. His real title is ‘special envoy’.

It’s customary for the press to give this description to important ad hoc positions that presidents create now and then.

Basically, if he doesn't perform well, he and all his immediate family will be taken to a log cabin out in the woods and summarily shot.

                                It's harsh, but fair.

NatSec Advisor nominee sent emails to Clinton's unsecured server.

                                        The Very Best People

Biden’s likely choice for national security adviser sent more than 200 classified emails found on Hillary Clinton’s private email network, and touted a now-debunked allegation before the 2016 election which fueled the conspiracy theory that Donald Trump was in cahoots with Russian leaders.

Biden will select Jake Sullivan to serve in the White House role, The New York Times and Bloomberg reported.

Sullivan, 43, was one of Clinton’s top policy advisers when she served as secretary of state from 2009 through 2013. After Clinton left Foggy Bottom, Sullivan served as national security adviser to then-Vice President Joe Biden. He was a senior foreign policy adviser to both the Clinton and Biden campaigns.

Sullivan was a key figure in the saga surrounding Clinton’s use of a private email network for government business. Clinton exclusively used the private server, eschewing guidance from the State Department to use government networks.
