Any guesses on the cabinet?

I almost want that so that when he reinterprets labor statues to mean all kinds of shit that Congress didn't intend, Scotus could reign in administrative law.
So, today you're a "half-full" guy, eh?

Wow. Janet Yellen at Treasury.
What do you think about this? She seems well qualified.
USA Today: "Yellen became the first female chair of the Federal Reserve System in February 2014 during the Obama administration, after serving more than three years as vice governor. She previously served as head of the Council of Economic Advisers to President Bill Clinton."

They’re not calling him that, are they?
My bad. Yes, Bloomberg is referring to him as the "Climate Czar."
Former Secretary of State John Kerry will be named as special presidential envoy for climate by President-elect Joe Biden, according to his transition team, in a sign Biden plans to fulfill promises to elevate the issue of global warming to the highest levels in his White House.
Having a so-called climate czar could help coordinate a whole-of-government approach to confronting global warming, which Biden has referred to as an “existential threat.”

Good one.
I also wonder what he means by his icon image.

What's this "czar" business about? Is there some constitutional amendment that defines the role of "czar"?
Basically, if he doesn't perform well, he and all his immediate family will be taken to a log cabin out in the woods and summarily shot.
It's harsh, but fair.

<---- searching in vain for headline that says 'Blinken Gets Nod from Biden'.
Here's a bit of profile. Embarrassingly biased, but anyway. One observer at State describes him as "calm, non-political, experienced approach to everything". https://lite.cnn.com/en/article/h_405a68671d1c5a32f1afda120a0abde8
I'm kind of excited about his credentials.

First time, for that role, I can think of that it wasn’t someone I had heard of before. That’s not a good or bad thing just an observation.
