Former SecDef Gates said that when it came to foreign policy, Biden was wrong almost 100% of the time?
By Robert Gates himself:
While it is certainly fair to quote my criticisms of Joe Biden’s record on national security, fairness requires me to note for the record that those comments written in 2014 also noted that Mr. Biden was a man of genuine integrity and character. It is also worth noting that I wrote in these very pages that Donald Trump “is stubbornly uninformed about the world and how to lead our country and government, and temperamentally unsuited to lead our men and women in uniform. He is unqualified and unfit to be commander-in-chief” (“Sizing Up the Next Commander-in-Chief,” op-ed, Sept. 17, 2016).
Heh. Gates speculates as to whether Biden is too old...
-
Why not put a big red box around the bit where he says he's a man of integrity, and one of those rare people you know you could turn to?
That's actually a really positive thing to say about anybody.
I know, it's less positive after that, but having Robert Gates think he's wrong on foreign policy is also a pretty good recommendation in my book.

A man of integrity, but a bit age-addled is EXACTLY what this country needs. Is that your point?

No, I think you need to start electing people who are in their 50's. However, it might be better than a man with no integrity who's a bit age addled.

I know Joe is probably guilty of raking in money from China, but I don't think I'd say he has no integrity.

He’s a man of values...

I’m in my 50s!
Oh, wait, you want a man of integrity...

I support examining the election for irregularities (read fraud), but I also think that IF the Trump administration is trying to block the transition that is so, so wrong.
I am open to the “big one” in terms of voter fraud but all I see so far is “squirrel”. You can only say that to a dog so many times before it just lays there unimpressed.
-
4 years ago the democrats had a fit over Flynn speaking to a foreign leader on the phone. Biden just said he had already spoken to 6 world leaders and had discussed things he will be doing with them - not a single word is said.
I don't know who will ultimately be declared the winner. What I DO know is that if Biden is declared the winner, we have just signed our nation's death warrant.

I thought you said in a few days there will be an explosion and all the voter fraud exposures will come to light.
What happens if there is no explosion and all the lawsuits fizzle?
You will actually accept that Biden won? Or still believe the stolen election theory in spite of the lawsuits getting dismissed one by one. Which they are of course.
-
I think we pretty much all know who ultimately will be declared the winner.
And I think we pretty much all know who won't accept this result.

What happens if there IS an explosion and all the lawsuits are won? Will you actually accept that Trump won? Or will you continue to be blinded by your partisan position and continue bashing Trump for the next 4 years, never once giving any thought to why this is important?
-
If the lawsuits fizzle and Biden legitimately wins the election, I will accept that he won the election. What I will NOT do is change my position about his being one of if not the worst choices that could have been made. What I will NOT do is close my eyes to the damage he will do. But I will accept that he won the election, and I will accept that he got enough votes to win. And, I will accept the fact that his getting enough votes to win is proof positive that the number of people not smart enough to vote has crossed the tipping point and my country is in real danger because of it. So is yours, actually - Iran is already making moves to get around the peace agreements that have been signed, offering a mafia style "protection" scheme to take advantage of the weakness they know is coming. They still want to destroy you. They aren't going to roll over and play dead - and the fool we Americans put in office here if it's Biden will make that a real possibility, because he is weak, and has a 47 year track record of being wrong on every single foreign policy issue.
The problem I have is that you, like most people on your side of the aisle, never consider the results of politics, you only consider the ideology. You never question what a man stands for or what his election will bring about, you only care that he is a democrat. If the candidate on the democrat ticket was Satan himself, you would still cheer him on like you were at a football game.
So yes - if the lawsuits are list and the vote is proven to be valid, I will thank Trump and the Republican party for protecting the integrity of our election process, and accept that Biden is the new president. And then for the next 4 years, each and every time he fucks something up and causes harm, I will remind you (the collective you) that you are getting what you asked for, and you should have listened when you had the chance.

Please, this is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let's not bicker and argue over who killed who.

I fart in your general direction.
