Don’t be surprised if they pull VA back. Trump has won Loudoun County, and Prince William is a dead heat, both with 95% + reporting. Fairfax county is more to the left, but not that much more to the left. They only have 15% reporting, and if what WMAL and WTOP reported is true, Trump can withstand Arlington and Alexandria...

NBC still have Biden winning VA even though Trump is way ahead.

@Mik they all do. Fairfax and Arlington still need to come in and if they come in at the rate they have for Dems over the last 3 elections then Biden will quickly catch up. The local news suggests they won’t.

It's like waiting for MRI results, or George's daughter's update.
Why oh why did I give up drinking?

NYT says 75% chance of Orange Victory in NC as of 5 minutes ago.
Fox News reporting right now that North Carolina shows an 89% probability for Biden

Wait, what? NYT is giving Trump the edge and Fox gives it to Biden? This is bizarro world!
NC is pretty important to Trump...

It’s effectively over for Trump

I wouldn’t say that. The NYT needle is based on really detailed analysis of county results.
I’m in no position to judge if they’re any better or worse than Fox but when they’re this far apart I’ll reserve judgment

Yeah, I was shocked to see that difference.

North Carolina is the firewall. Another surprise or two will come.
Biden is winning everywhere in terms of outperforming 2016 with the exception of one county in Florida.

Yeah, both RCP and Fox show 95% of Loudoun County results are in, NYT showed 35%, that seems a lot more accurate.

This is the fun part of the night. Anyone else find this super entertaining? (Divorcing the drama of it from your preferences)

Ok, Fox is following suit on NC. I think the NYT just became my go to for the evening.

Fox News Channel just mentioned that some outlets just switched VA back to a tossup, but they were sticking by their exit surveys... Does anybody know which outlet switched VA?

Nope

By the way, NYT is only doing its needles on those three states. There’s an explainer that says why the others will be too hard to predict from preliminary results.
