Okay this tea crap is way, WAY out of hand.

On a related note, on my regular bike ride last week I passed a guy on a penny farthing. Out in the freaking countryside, on a penny farthing.
Presumably he was on his way to pick up some tea.

Whose your supplier for Asatsuyu Sencha? I’ll have to give it a chance.
Amazon! Arrives in 2 days.
Watch the brewing though. If you don't rinse it, the first infusion takes like 10-15 seconds. The second one is almost immediate. Sometimes the third, too.

I've occasionally wondered what aging hipsters do in their spare time.
I'm also marginally employed. Don't forget that too!

You appear to have purchased an artisan tea pot. That sorry excuse for a spout is going to spill the stuff everywhere.

Master Zheng shits generally in your direction.
(By the way I wouldn't be so into it if it didn't help so much with my mood and blood pressure. Also I legit get pretty high off it so there's that.)

There's water all over that artisan table you've got it sitting on, so clearly I was right.

Ikea cutting board. Basically the polar opposite if "small batch."

You went to Ikea? Like, in person????
Can this year get any freaking weirder?

Right?? I'm ready for a factory reset at this point.

I quite like the Swedish meatballs.
We used to go there primarily as they would look after the kids for an hour while we sat silently in the cafe with the hundred yard stare well known to parents of toddlers everywhere.

Aqua at IKEA.
I need to let that picture develop a bit.
They have good hotdogs. That's it.

Don't tell anybody, but I'm quite intrigued by the totally legal high. I've put the organic stuff on my Amazon wishlist and might give it a shot when nobody's looking.

Not all tea works the same, you gotta shop around a bit. Some stuff is just an extremely good mood booster. Other stuff, like 10-year-old white tea, can very well knock one on one's ass. I feel really weird after too much of it.
Gotta brew it gong fu style though, not western.

Asatsuyu
It's the organic stuff on the far left of the picture, right?
Don't start backpedaling on me now!
