Finley’s Identity
-
This morning Finley was at the patio door with Dakota, our 13-year-old Border Collie. When Dakota started barking at some squirrels, Finley barked along and was laughing away. This wasn’t the first clue. Three times over the past two weeks he has tried to eat Dakota’s treats, and last week I fished s piece of kibble out of his mouth that he had snatched when I wasn’t looking.
Seeing the joy in his eyes while barking away made me realize that it was wrong of me to impose my definition of him as being a little boy. He obviously identifies as a puppy, and as much as I wish otherwise, it is his choice.
So now I need to figure out where we go from here. Are there hormone treatments that I should take him for? Tail implant? I‘m hesitant to schedule his neutering. Any advice?

I don’t know how much money we have invested in toys, but he has spent 30 minutes playing with a can of peas in the kitchen.

Biden has a plan for that.
