OK, we pulled the trigger. We'll be in Orange Beach Alabama for the month of February. Beachfront condo, looks nice. I know it is not as warm there as further south, but it also won't be 20F and the prices were much more reasonable. High 60's, low 70's. Will likely make a jaunt over to New Orleans, 3 hours away.

Then we will be in the Florida Keys for a week or two with my family.

That is my idea - I have no interst in going the same place each year. I'd like to do Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, South Carolina's low country...

Well, with Zeta coming directly to Orange Beach maybe I should have waited a while to pull that trigger. It's a Cat 1 which should not be all that bad. In any event it should be fixed up by February. I hope.
