As someone who hasn't watched the news much lately, I don't know much about Joe Biden.
However, I know enough about Trump. Hence, I'll be voting for Biden.
Vote issues, Mike. Not personalities.

Biden supports:
- $2T spending in four years for his version of a green New deal.
- A $15/hr minimum wage.
- To recommit to the Paris Climate Accord and the resulting cost.
- Free public college
- Free universal pre-k
- Banning "assault weapons".
- Red flag gun laws.
- A relatively open border.
- Amnesty for illegal aliens.
- Federal funding of abortion.
- Twelve weeks of paid family leave.
- Supports a House Bill to lay the groundwork for reparations.
- Opposes public school vouchers.
- Opposes for-profit charter schools.
- End cash bail.
- End new oil and gas leases in federal land.
- Establish a national firearms regustry.
- Increase capital gains taxes.
- Raise corporate raxes.
- Raise income taxes.
I'd vote for quite a bit of that, TBH.
What worries me about Biden isn't his policies.

The paid family leave thing to me is hilarious. The number of jobs/careers/etc Americans have over the course of their professional life is increasing exponentially. Because they're all lazy second-stringers, of course, trying to mooch off of the real patriots around here. Has nothing to do with the fact that the average medieval peasant had more annual free time than the average modern office schmuck.

I've read quite a bit on medieval peasantry. Care to flesh that one out a bit?

Seasonal fluxes. Sure the work was long and backbreaking, no medical, etc., etc., but even for busy fiefdoms you had at least 70 or so days off. Some of them worked 180 days per annum, tops.

They worked for their Lords that much. How much did they have to work for themselves, to make sure they had food, shelter and the necessities of life?

Job to job, externalities to externalities, they had far more time.

The lifespan of a medieval peasant was about 35 years. His workday typically started at 3AM and continued until dark. He worked for his lord an average of three days a week, the other days he worked for himself. his work was back-breaking and at a level few modern cube rate could manage. The thought that modern office workers work harder is laughable. He had some leisure time, probably about right weeks total.
His home was usually one-room, windowless and with a fire in the muddle, leading to a smojy, dark home. His food was mostly cereals, with some vegetables. Some were lucky enough to have fish or fruit available.
It was a tough life, filled with hard work and most likely a very short life.

His workday which was only half the year
FIFY.
I'm not talking overall quality of life, I'm talking annual work hours.

I have no doubt that 99% of Biden’s supporters are just voting against Trump. Of course, if it was any other Republican 97% of Biden’s support would still be the same.
It’s not about liking their guy, it’s about being against those evil, racist, fascist, greedy, stupid, diabolical Republicans. Trump makes it slightly worse, but is it really that much worse than it was with W, McCain/Palin, Mitt?
A hundred fold

LOL, your denial just affirms it. Go look at the undecideds thread and the article that spawned it. If undecideds disgust the left that much, how much more so the actual Trump supporters?

Of the Democrat supporters that I have seen, 97% consider anybody supporting Conservative Values and Policies as racists, xenophobes, violent, gun crazed lunatics that aren’t very intelligent.
What if I told you they only thought 97% were racists, xenophobes, violent, gun crazed lunatics that aren’t very intelligent?
I would say “in your experience”...
Which would not be true either because the vast majority of Jon’s experience has been...us.

You're familiar with farm life. Farmers that grow crops and raise animals work only half the year?

Sigh...
Today's farmers can do a ton more than a medieval peasant. They also, y'know, own land and have Saran wrap. Yes, today's farmers more or less work their ass off.
To be perfectly clear, when comparing annual hours working for the Man and only comparing annual hours working for the man, medieval peasants worked fewer annual hours explicitly in Man-serving capacity than many of today's office workers.
-
Farmers have always worked their butts off. Especially subsistence farmers.
I don't see how you can compare a subsistence farmers and his time off, to a 2020 cube rat, and his days off.

Some farmers take a few hours off on Saturday nights.
Most don't.

Read the studies, man. They worked their jobs not at all in the winter. They did other stuff obviously.
