I store my stuff either in the gun cabinet or in surplus ammo cans with a little dessicant. I've shot 20 year old Chinese steel case with no problem. I've shot shotgun shells even older than that.

Nah, it doesn't get humid down here.

Seriously, for long term storage, surplus ammo box (the kind with the rubber gasket) or if you're going big time, a sealed rocket case or PVC home sewer pipe with the ends capped and cemented...Don't forget the dessicant.
