Naked women make me miserable.

Don't know if his story is true, but it's interesting...

That looks like a pretty depressing YouTube channel.
If Mrs. Phibes ever came to her senses, I honestly don't think I could face dating again.

His assessment of the clubs took me all of 5 minutes the first time I went into one. It ain't a girlfriend experience any more than hiring a hooker is. At least with a hooker you likely get what you paid for.
The emptiness of that life? Sure. I get that. I woud imagine a lot of sports stars have similar, although they at least have a skill they probably care about.
It's the difference between getting what you want and wanting what you have.

My experience with "titty bars" is a series of one.
In 1970, a friend and I drove up to Montreal for a few days. It was, iirc, the year after the Worlds Fair, so a lot of the stuff was there. One evening, we wandered into a topless bar and had a beer.
It was, indeed, a sad place, something which even my 20-year-old mind understood.

Some of his observations:
-
The money was very good, but his life as a DJ in the clubs was miserable, especially when he looked back at it. It was an empty, unfulfilling life.
-
The worse he treated the girls, the more they flirted with him. Most of the girls had boyfriends that most people would consider "losers".
-
The girls were constantly changing out, and after awhile they were interchangeable products.
-
Almost all of the girls had psychological or drug dependency issues of one kind or another.
-
Most of the girls had no problem with exchanging sexual favors for preferential treatment.

Just briefly looking at the titles and intros to his other videos, I'm not sure he's got a very healthy opinion of women.
Calling them "gentlemen's clubs" is hilarious. In my last job we had a working trip to Niagara Falls in February, and in the absence of there being anything else to do in an ambient of -30 degrees, the marketing guy took me to a ton of strip clubs, my only experience of the places. There was a noticeable lack of gentlemen in any of them, other than me of course. I found the places really embarrassing. I think the strippers took pity on my very obvious discomfort and complete lack of interest in getting involved at all - they were actually quite friendly, and pretty told us how much the job sucked (no pun intended).

Isn't MGTOW a bit like incel-light?
I Googled it, and it pretty much confirmed he likely has an unhealthy view of women.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Naked women make me miserable.:

I don't think so. I think many of the MGTOW guys would enter back into a long-time relationship, if they could find the right woman.
I think the feminist movement, like many movements, achieved its goals and then kept going until it made many women miserable. MGTOW is certainly capable of the same thing.

To show you how much I know about it, I thought he was talking about a whorehouse.....
Never been in one of those, and I was only in a titty bar one time in my life, and that was to adjust a projection tv the owner bought from me. And the place was closed.
By the way... contrary to the things I say here for humor that apparently caused one or two people to think I have an unhealthy view of women... the truth is I think women are the greatest thing God ever thought of, and I have a very healthy view of them.
