I never seem to watch anything the moment it's popular. It's just not something I do. I'm always years behind on movies, books, etc.

So, I'm watching True Detective, Season 3. Season 1 was about the best damn thing I've ever seen but man the third season is good, too. These seasons aren't TV episodes, they're 20-hour movies.

I really enjoyed Vance’s book. I’m sure Ron Howard did a good job with the movie.

True Detective S1 was brilliant. Season 2 much less so. Abandoned Season 3 after a couple of episodes, maybe I should revisit.
