The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Wait, which is correct, the tweet or the thread title?

      You were warned.

“So let me be clear, assuming positive data, Pfizer will apply for Emergency Authorization Use in the U.S. soon after the safety milestone is achieved in the third week of November,” Pfizer Chief Executive Albert Bourla said.

According to Pfizer the tweet is correct. They definitely have not asked for an emergency authorization.

Third week of November they’ll have 2 month safety data which will clear the hurdle for emergency authorization, at which point they’ll request it, assuming the efficacy data is good. (Standard approval requires 6 months).

        Makes sense.

        You were warned.

And CVS will administer the first cleared vaccine to all nursing home patients.

          For free.

I was wondering where the vaccine riots would be

            CVS, ground zero

Why would we not give it to people in nursing homes today? Seems like a no brainer.

Because if a ton of people in nursing homes are seriously damaged by it, the subsequent lawsuits would put Pfizer out of business?

                I was only joking

Lots of trials right now where people are doing fine. I think you can calculate how many old people die for every day delay. How humane is that. I know I would give to my parents and take the risk and not sue.

I thought the American Dream v 2.0 was to have something bad happen to a family member and to then become a multi-millionaire following the lawsuit.

I know, I know, I'm being overly cynical. The actual dream is to have something mildly aggravating happen and then sue them for emotional turmoil caused.

                    I was only joking
