Reminds me of the old joke...

Bathroom Stall #1 knocks on stall #2: "Hey, man, there's no toilet paper here. You got any you could share?"

Bathroom Stall #2: "Geez, I just used the last of it."

    Bathroom Stall #1: "Newspaper?

    Bathroom Stall #2: "Nope."

    Bathroom Stall #1: "Umm....got change for a $20?"

"Now look here, you Baltic gas passer... " - Mik, 6/14/08

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

A drunk guy staggered into a Catholic church, made his way down to the front and went into a confessional booth. The priest on the other side waited a good 5 minutes for the guy to speak, but he never did. So the priest gently tapped on the portion between them to make sure the guy knew he was there waiting to hear his confession.

The drunk guy says "Ain't no need knocking, there ain't no toilet paper over here either....."

            The bidet wasn't even mentioned.

Un-fucking believable that people are so resistant to using this technology that has been in existence for about 400 years now.

Seriously, you can get an attachment for your existing toilet and seat for about $40.

We have 5 of them installed here at the house.

All during the "Great Toilet Paper Famine" of 2020" we just laughed at the spectacle of it all.

Just read the main reason it never caught on in America is due to prudish bullshit of the times that equated the bidet with female sex workers. lol

Hand and a bucket have been used for probably longer. Still quite common in places like India. (that is one reason why left hand people are looked at with shock there. People eat with their right hand and clean themself private parts with their left, so using your left hand to eat is a big no no. )

And a lot of places in Asia, the sewer pipes cannot handle toilet paper. When we finally got indoor plumbing in our house, toilet paper could not go down the toilet or it would clog it.

Year's ago I was staying at the Grovsenor House in London, and one morning during breakfast I overheard two older couples talking about how nice their rooms were. One of the men told about how fancy the bathroom was, and about the fancy device beside the toilet for rinsing your dentures....

The whole, hand and water thing is a little on the disgusting side of cleaning your backside.

A bidet is hands free and leaves no trace of waste on you. You pat dry with a couple of sheets of paper if you are in a hurry. Some bidet attachments even have a warm air blower to dry you.
