I know some people here thought Trump was deliberately trying to lose in 2016. You've got to wonder what the bloody hell he was thinking.

Top US virus expert Dr Anthony Fauci has criticised the White House for hosting a gathering last month that has been linked to an outbreak of Covid-19.
Dr Fauci, a member of the White House's coronavirus task force, said the president's unveiling of his judicial nominee was a "superspreader event".
He also pluralized (sic) the Latin
"The data speak for themselves - we had a superspreader event in the White House, and it was in a situation where people were crowded together and were not wearing masks."

More reason to respect the man, despite what Aqua and, ahem, others say.

Does anyone know how many are in the hospital and how many are in an ICU?
Are you implying it's perfectly fine to spread the disease as long as nobody gets really sick?
Because at least two of them appear to have significant risk factors.

Are you implying that somebody can say with scientific certainty who spread what?
Not at all. What Dr. Fauci appears to be saying is that they didn't apply sufficient precautions. One person had it, then lots of people had it, and according to photo's I've seen pretty much nobody was doing anything to prevent this from happening.
