Why your daughter may be more impacted than Trump is something that seems to not be understood yet, although any of the 3 treatments he got could be the answer.
Here is the best article I could find on the topic.

That's a perfect example of what several of us here have been harping on, over and over again, All. God. Damn. Year. Which might I add keeps getting written off as silly outliers that need to be ignored because they're silly outliers that don't fit the Old People Narrative, and in some cases "fearful (and therefore sinful or something) talk."

Oh man
Hope it stays mild.
Not easy for a parent.

Yes I know that and 120 people under 19 have died so far. So one has to find the balance between what is happening to people who don’t get Covid as a result of lockdown and those that die or get very sick from it.
Not wearing masks is unconscionable.

I don't know why you keep bringing stuff like that up, though. What does that have to do with anything? It's not even relevant in this thread as neither George's daughter, nor anyone who participates here, is under 19.

You seem to post examples that are disproportionate to reality. Yeah, a lot of businesses have gone under as a result of the virus. But it's not an economic apocalypse--unemployment is at 2015 levels and it continues to decline, not increase--and new opportunities keep cropping up that would otherwise not exist.
As for the social isolation, yeah that's a bummer. But no other people in the history of the world have been so well-equipped to handle that problem. It's a very serious consequence that's literally never been easier to mitigate.

Is she monitoring her Sats?
Not yet. She got more symptomatic on Saturday, and I ordered her a pulse-ox. It's arriving this afternoon.
Good of you, George. I'm sure she's level-headed like her dad, so I hope she knows to just lay low, rest whenever she needs it, fluids, etc. And yeah, some ibuprofen or acetaminophen may help.
The shortness of breath thing is real, and it's rather surprising to someone who's not used to it. It may even become rather worrisome. Having the pulse-ox will help relieve concerns, or provide basis for additional medical help. I hope it's just the former, not the latter. Remind her it is often just part of the deal with this bug, that it won't likely lead to a hospital trip, and to keep tabs with you frequently. Heck, I'm old enough to be her mom, and I was rather surprised at the shortness of breath problems, which can go on longer than a person would think possible. Again, she's young, so I hope she has a quick recovery.
She's so fortunate to have your advice and help, George. It will be a great comfort for her to have someone she trusts to lean on through this.

Sending positive vibes her way, George! She´s so lucky to have you to check in and monitor.
