It's really great when your kids stop being your kids and become your friends....

How long does the loss of taste and smell last?

Luke is still getting phantom smells.

              In D2's case, it's been 8 weeks.

I feel like an idiot... Luke loves pomegranates. Today, completely unthinking, I thought I would do something nice for him and brought home a Costco 6-pack of Pomegranates...

“Gee, thanks Dad... 🙄. I can’t wait to eat my favorite food that I can’t taste...”

And he ate some and could taste it! Not 100%, but it wasn’t completely bland.

85% sounds about right, George. She's right on schedule, and in another couple months she'll feel pretty normal again. Good for her. Yes, it's a long road, but she's far along it now.
