Harris, "If Trump tells us to take the vaccine, I'm not taking it."

She gave two answers I've twice spelled them out already in this thread.

Pence keeps going over his time. Annoying.

Neither of which was specific, and the vaccine will be the result of the current administration effort.

VP Pence just did a good job of totally ignoring the question about if the president dies. Tried to go back and talk about swine flu, which nobody in the US really remembers. That was not a good talking spot.

They bring that up a lot. I don’t really see how H1N1 is going to resonate.

Harris is doing the same, it seems.

True.
BUt...he brings it back to memory saying, I thought effectively, that 60M americans got the swine flu. Had it been as lethal as SARS-CoV-2, we would be looking at millions of dead.

True.

Yeah but even that doesn’t make sense because the response has to be a function of the lethality.

I agree with Pence on the clarity of the choice.

Neither could bring themselves to talk about their running mate's health and being transparent about their health with the public.

(I'm finding Harris's smirks annoying)
And Pence won't shut up.

FFS.
Harris is complaining about the $2T deficit because of tax cuts?
Has she spoken to Pelosi?
"Believe in science?"
Tell us about those plexiglass shields....

I had hoped that the moderator would enforce the rules more aggressively. No such luck for this debate.

Yup. He's remarkably restrained, when viewed through that prism.

I am not wild about Pence, who is a better governor than VP. But Harris just offends me in so many ways.

Interesting for me listening to it from the internet radio. Not seeing them is a good thing.
So far: I agree - VP Pence is talking over his time quite a bit.
Both: typical politician speak of avoiding the question directly to get their "talking point" in.
