Trump to quarantine awaiting Covid test

The communications from the doctors today has been amateur hour. The Walter Reed docs and Trump’s personal docs gave conflicting updates.
I can understand not giving all the details of his health because of national security concerns or something - but they’re giving conflicting and open ended info.
(WH docs say he’s doing well, WR docs saying he vitals have been bad, it was implied that he was diagnosed on Wed but not clarified, etc.)

Yeah - well they obviously couldn’t leave that handing out there.
Seems like the doc just gets to decide what he wants to say without someone from the administration controlling the message.
(That memo is written from the Doc to McEnany).
I’d expect a doc to be an amateur when it comes to Presidential updates.
I was more surprised by the process than information.

What’s truly funny is that after everything that has happened in this country your choice for President is still one of two old white men.
We cherish and respect our old white men
Actually we cherish and respect all our elders
But, of course, old white male elders are the best
As they always have been

It was remarkable just how far CNN took the 72 hours this morning and took as gospel willful criminal deadly intent. Multiple people were metaphorically dragged through the streets, tried and hanged. They even had me leaning toward believing for a moment. Such more for the value of a Twitter giving us real time information. Since it is probably saved the CNN segments should used as a case study for what is so wrong.

(remember, current thinking is that masks don't prevent you from getting COVID-19, but prevent you from spreading it)
This didn't age well, did it?

I don’t want to be too snarky but I seriously doubt that any HCQ is in consideration.
But maybe I’m wrong.
Doesn’t look like it.
The treatment the president received is an antibody cocktail developed by the biotech company Regeneron, according to the memo from his doctor, Sean P. Conley. Mr. Trump is also taking vitamin D, zinc, melatonin, a daily aspirin and famotidine (an antacid better known as Pepcid), the memo said.

That's pretty much exactly what I was talking about yesterday. Wearing a mask is a sign of weakness? Seriously?
Being a fucking imbecile is no excuse for this kind of thing.

On Saturday, two sources said Trump was feeling better. But it is difficult to assess the information given the White House's history of lying. According to a source, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has told Republicans that the next few days will be critical to determine the virus’s outcome. “Meadows has said if Trump can get out of the hospital by Tuesday, then he’s gone through the worst of it. But if he’s still there after Tuesday, the worst is yet to come,” the source told me.
Inside Trumpworld, the shock of Trump’s hospitalization is giving way to despair about his prospects in the upcoming election. “They all know it’s over,” a Republican close to the campaign said. “This is spiraling out of control,” a former West Wing official said. Some Trump allies are entertaining conspiracy theories that the White House outbreak was caused by someone with political motives. “It’s weird that all these Republicans are getting it,” a prominent Republican told me. “I don’t know what the fuck is going on. But one thing I’ve learned is: when something major happens thirty days before an election, it usually has to do with the election.” (There is no evidence for this wild claim).
Meanwhile, America’s closest allies are entertaining wild scenarios as well. An outside White House adviser told me that a high-level government official from a G-7 country asked him if Trump would try to appoint Ivanka president instead of Mike Pence. “He’s broken every norm so far, so they think anything is possible,” the source said.
The White House declined a request for comment.
I'd love to see who this "source" is.
Is it NS?

There can be no question that if he had worn a mask he would not be ill.

Being a fucking imbecile is no excuse for this kind of thing."The Science" tells us that wearing a mask doesn't prevent you from getting infected. It tells us that wearing a mask prevent you from infecting others.
So, which "fucking imbecile" gave it to Trump?

Which “fucking I’m imbecile” set the example of and spread the rhetorics for not wearing masks in the administration?

Obviously his advisers decided that he could not win without being the president who personally conquered the virus
So he will now conquer the virus
And prove all those wrong who said he needed a mask in order to continue his healthy lifestyle
At which point all those people, including ax, will apologize and remove their masks

I dunno, Nancy Pelosi at the hair salon?
The politician who said masks were all political theater?
If you're going cast blame, at least cast it fair and balanced?
Edit to add: At least the two asshats I said had the political savvy to separate their true feelings from what
the science saidthey should show.
