My physical therapist asked me if I'd watched the debate the previous night. I said no. She made some derisive comment about the debates. I asked "so how did Biden hold up?". She took several moments to parse that question, just staring at me. Clearly contemplating whether I might be an evil person. I made a basic attempt to smooth it out ambiguously by saying that he'd always seemed so smart, but I wasn't sure at his age how he was doing.
