    Had a young guy join my team today .

    He was able to go to high school in a developing country because of a philanthropic foundation attached to a major US company (our client).

    The ceo of said corporation and his wife found out and sent a really sweet note (you can imagine they were thrilled as well to find out ).

    Genuinely heartwarming.

      So many things happen by private efforts. I don't know if we have any real estimate of the vaue.

        $427B in 2019 from American charitable contributions. Half a trillion dollars a year voluntarily. How many lives changed dramatically we will never know.
