Oh I know, but it's still impressive as all hell. The first 1.2 million followers? Happened in the first 4 hours.
I can't think of anyone else who's done something like that.

He appeals to everyone - my parents generation love him because he's as old as they are and still going strong, my generation grew up with his TV shows, and the young and groovy love him as he's been such a tireless campaigner for looking after the planet.
