I guess it sounded better than Balljoint or Idlerarm. I mean, if you're gonna name your poor child after an auto part...maybe Sparkplug? Turbo? Turbo Taylor. Yeah, that works.

Quarterblack? Looks like a fullblack to me!
I heard a color commentator make that statement about Warren Moon after a play by play guy inadvertently called Moon a hell of a quarterblack. There was then a long awkward silence, and the commentator made that joke. I don’t know if he was fired.

Wall, that was clearly quite a while ago, so maybe not. Today he'd be prosecuted.
