    These far left folks never change. They're driven by the conviction that government can do things better despite so much overwhelming evidence to the contrary, however well-meaning the intention.

    If I'm honest, I probably felt that way when I was 17 years old, but my excuse is I was 17 years old.

        I think that is very true. Where it sadly seems to fail is it seems to be predicated on the assumption that if we are nice to everyone, they will be nice to us.

                  Not that different from hotel occupancy and rental car taxes. Tax the visitors to pay for services for the locals.
