              Yes. It's actually been done a couple times. Once in WWII in a dogfight and once Bastille Day 1991.

                Though a much larger area under the Eiffel Tower, the speed of a mirage jet must add significant risk?

                  One would think. You run into the bridge, well, bad luck. You mess up the Eiffel Tower and you best be moving to Germany.

                    I was in Paris for Bastille day in 1991. If I only knew to watch for the plane. My first ever trip to France.
