    I was surprised to hear/read that earlier.

    Not sure if it will be enough. At the moment, voters seem to have had enough of PM Orbán.

      Didn’t surprise me one bit. Right wing populist lightweights like Orban in Hungary and his neighbour, Fico, in Slovakia seem to mesmerize Trump or fulfill certain fantasies he holds regarding the aristocracy of old Europe.

          Orban’s polling dropped precipitously as Vance was there. And Magyar won with a parliamentary supermajority. heh.

                    I thought this was quite funny. How can VP Vance not see the irony?

                    In speeches, Vance decried what he called “disgraceful” foreign interference in the election by the E.U., while declaring that he wanted to “help as much as I can possibly help” to get Orban reelected.

                      I don't think acknowledging irony is a particularly strength of the current administration. At least 50% of them probably think it's a really impressive woody.
