I hear Paul McCartney has a new album.

    Is it any good?

One of the best song writers ever. Yesterday. But in his older years never recreated something like that. I don't know.

      Education is extremely important.

Yesterday is one of my favorites. Have not heard the new album.

Our son is a devout Beatle fan and follower of their individual post Fab Four careers. As a result I get to hear obscure recordings and tracks starting from their earliest days in Liverpool to what Paul and Ringo are doing at present. As far as I’m concerned there is very little of Paul’s material that catches my ear or sets my toe tapping since he wrote the theme for Live and Let Die back in the early 70s.

Am just not a pop music fan, never have been.

I heard one song-in a light tenor. His voice (one of the greatest ever) broke a bit.

Here's a song from EARLY Fleetwood Mac that mentions McCartney's voice:

I bought this album when it came out.
