It's feasible and he's not the only one saying it. But the fact that he says it lends it no credence in my view. Cuban has never impressed me as much of an insightful guy, as much as he wants to play that part in pop culture.

AI is a type of software.

Many other non-AI types of software will survive for the simple reason that lots of hardware won't have enough memory or computing power to do AI inference, and lots of non-AI software will stick around because they are "sunk costs" and continue to work well enough.
