10 year old Florida boy hears racist joke from fellow 10 year old, holds it in his psyche for life, gets elected to city council 30 years later, gets drunk, reveals in front of a microphone in council meeting that the joke from 30 years ago forms the basis of his self righteous worldview.

For some reason our host Sean here doesn’t mention the obvious fact that he was drunk. Maybe it’s more obvious to me than others. In vino veritas.

      Florida is a weird place.

But you still want to retire there, right?

Hell no. I'd be much more likely to go to the Carolinas or Alabama.

It is a funny place. It's a composite of almost all of the rest of the country. Drive Rt. 27 from Tallahassee to Miami Beach and you pass through Appalachia to the rust belt to Alabama to Los Vegas to California to Cuba to NYC. Every 50 miles it's a different state.

Flushing the toilet is like practicing the piano; you just cannot go too long without doing it.--Axtremus

              That's a fact.
