    “Scholarly Harassment”.

The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

I'd rather like to look at the original Nature publication than this article to make up my mind, but it's paywalled not not yet available on sci-hub.

In my community, papers are these days almost always reviewed in double-blind style: The authors know nothing about the reviewers and vice versa. That includes names, gender, institution etc.

Actually, the article criticizing the Nature publication is also paywalled.

Surely none of you made up their minds by only looking at the tweet?

I've heard that females dominating academia has caused a huge culture shift. For instance, they tend to be purely careerist, which means working very hard to succeed within well-established parameters. Unwilling therefore to take risk with original work. Professorships become a grind to check boxes and advance in a hierarchy.

            Education is extremely important.
