Queer support

A recent survey of 1,200 queer men in the United States found that 45 percent planned on voting for Republican President Donald Trump. Comparatively, 51 percent said they would vote for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The poll's results fall very close to recent national polling showing 50 percent of voters supporting Biden and 43 percent supporting Trump.
The poll, conducted by the queer men's social app Hornet, actually asked 10,000 of its users worldwide about their preferred presidential candidate. But while 66 percent of worldwide users supported Biden and 34 percent supported Trump, the percentages among U.S. men were much closer.

Because Trump's not anti-gay at all. Now, on the other hand, he's not the most friendly admin towards trans-gendered, but A LOT of gay men don't have an affinity for the Transfascism that going on....

@LuFins-Dad Since both president candidates seem to be the same towards gays, then it would just come down to "non-gay" issues I guess, right?
That makes sense. The numbers in the polls for gay men seem to match with the overall polls then.

Yes there is a fairy tale progressives tell themselves that oppressed people have the secret knowledge and empathy of and for other oppressed people. But it doesn't turn out that way. Actually I suspect transgendered people are just far out enough that no other oppressed group will ever have much desire to be associated with them.
-
Another fairy tale is that oppressed people all feel the same way about stuff.
There's plenty of example of gays standing up for transgendered rights.
-
Well, it's central to the culture wars that conservatives love the idea that people are individuals and don't cohere with stereotypical belief patterns based on their "identity". So you might want to look elsewhere for the people who tell the fairy tale that all oppressed people think alike. I mean what idea do you think intersectionality is founded on?

It just seems like a queer thing to do.

I donβt think being gay makes one necessarily on the left
Perfect example in Israel, this guy in bibis government is openly gay and is a right wing wing nut

But maybe itβs not the same here as in the US, Israel, with all its political controversy has always been pretty gay tolerant

Rick Grenell, former acting DNI and former ambassador to Germany is openly gay.

I just remember hearing how Trump was not only an anti-Semite (despite having Jared as a son-in-law) and anti-gay.

I don't even know what intersectionality means and what's more I'm not looking it up.
It sounds like more American gobbledygook to me.

I'm totally sick of the American left.
If I had to vote, I think I'd throw myself down a well.
"TIMMY'S FALLEN DOWN THE WELL!!!!"

As if I needed to say it, this in no way expresses any support whatsoever for the American right, who are a complete bunch of twats.

I don't know if he is or isn't an anti-semite, but saying he's not only because he has a Jewish SIL doesn't mean anything.
